Quintin is a native North Carolinian who grew up 60 miles away in the small hamlet of Linden, NC near Fayetteville NC. He attended Pine Forest High School and upon graduation attended Fayetteville Technical Community College majoring in Electronic Engineering. He later received his BS degree in Organizational Management from St. Augustines College. Quintin’s professional career began at Nortel Networks where he became a Software Engineer and later Manager of Software Development of IP Telephony Integration.

After 16 years of telecommunications, it was time to try his hand at entrepreneurship (something he always wanted to do). Quintin already had a General Contractor’s License he obtained in 1996 and began to put it to use in the commercial arena. It was imperative to obtain some much needed training in the field of construction and construction management related services, so Quintin enrolled in the HUB Business Academy (where incidentally Academy Construction was born), Raleigh Business and Technology Center’s Pacesetter Program as well as the Dept of Transportation’s Executive Business Development Initiative at the Kenan-Flagler Business School in Chapel Hill sponsored by NCIMED.
