Serving the entire state of North Carolina, the United Minority Contractors of North Carolina (UMCNC) is dedicated to advancing the growth and success of minority-owned businesses across the construction and contracting industries. We are actively engaged in addressing the needs and concerns of our members through targeted outreach, capacity-building education, business development support, strategic partnerships, and public policy advocacy.
Through our network of contractors, suppliers, professionals, and industry leaders, we strive to create equitable opportunities, build sustainable communities, and promote inclusive economic development throughout North Carolina.
Delivering Value to Members is Our Priority
United Minority Contractors of North Carolina (UMCNC) is a membership based organization and the State Chapter of the National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC).
UMCNC was incorporated in 2005 as 501(c) (6) trade organization and is open to all people of all races, genders and ethnic background. The organization’s principal focus is on issues and concerns common to African American, Asian American, Hispanic American, and Native American construction professionals.
